My "Heritage" Frame "Iowa Barns" is framed in an antique window that I found in my grandparent's shed during a visit to Iowa in 2004. I thought about that window for years and finally had it shipped to California after I visited my grandmothers in June of 2007. The photos were all taken on this most recent trip. One of the photos was taken from my grandparent's back yard and another was taken in the town where my ancestors settled after immigrating from Scotland and Ireland in the 1800's. I was born in Iowa but moved to Michigan when I was 4. We took a trip to visit family in Iowa every summer and I have fond memories of the fields and farms. I'm very excited to finally have a window frame of my own celebrating my family's heritage! October 2007 |

Sold - Thank You! "Rainbow Rooster" - 2006 A single pane vintage window was used to frame this striking 20 x 30 photograph of "Rainbow". The window measures 27 1/2" wide by 36" high and has a strong hanging wire on the back. The original vintage paint and imperfections in the wood were left as-is and sealed with a clear coat of polyurethane. The print is matted in a buttery yellow single mat. Rainbow is (was?) a resident of San Juan Bautista California where roosters are a quaint part of the local culture. Very recently most of the roosters were removed from the town and relocated to a rescue ranch. We don't know if Rainbow was one of them but we are happy to have this regal photo of him anyway! $150 - SOLD |
