Chains required in the Sierras...winter in California has officially arrived!  Even though it is a balmy 55 degrees

here, it still gets me in the spirit to hear snow!

I'm busy busy filling orders and updating our website.  There is still time to order and ship before Christmas so

As promised, here are the before and after pictures of our home office makeover.  While the before
pictures are really embarrassing,  please keep in mind  that this 12 x 12 office is used by Rochelle, Craig,
Charlie (6), and Josh (4) as well as our two dogs.  Most of the time there are 3 to 5 of us in here at once!
With that said, I took the following pictures on a typical busy and cluttered day:

We researched and requested quotes for several different options for a new home office.  Finally we decided
to go with my design with Craig engineering the details and both of us doing the labor.  It took about a week of
work and multiple trips to Lowes and Ace to finish the project. 

We are very happy with the spacious and organized office that we now have!  As you can see, everyone and everything
has a place!

Wow, did we have a good time at the 51st Annual Kinship Wine and Food Tasting at Paicines Ranch!  Fabulous food and wine and the setting was incredible. 

In addition to all the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes into printing, I am also doing more summer shows than ever before.  I will be at Farmer's Market one more time on September 12th.

I will also be at San Juan Bautista's Chicken Festival at the end of July.  This is their first one and it sounds like a lot of fun.  Check our events page for details and mark your calendar.  I will also be a vendor at the September Art and Wine Festival again this year.

Other updates:

The print sale is going very well.  I invested a little too much in frames and prints last year and I am trying to clear some inventory.  I still have 2 framed roses, 2 (giant) framed roosters in windows, and a few unframed prints.  The prices can't be beat at 40% off so take a little time to shop.

Sadly, County Bounty in SJB is now closed so my prints are no longer available there.  As mentioned above, I have the giant window roosters so please contact me directly for more information.

We are starting 2007 with a great 40 % off sale on prints and select framed prints.  A very limited number of 2007 calendars are also on sale for 20% off.  Get yours before we run out!

Please note that we are discontinuing our Shutterfly Gallery for 2007.  This will allow us to lower our prices on prints and enlargements and they will be available for order upon request.  All of our card and calendar photos are available in enlargements.  We will still be using Shutterfly for printing and shipping but we will process orders through Vista Notes instead of having Shutterfly process orders for us.  Customers should not see any delay in service!

‘Tis the Season for excitement and we’re having our share at Vista Notes!  There is so much going on – read on! 

We are still adding new boutiques to our events page  Check out the latest dates if you are in Hollister and come by to do some shopping and get in the holiday spirit.  I will be at the Rancho San Justo Band Fundraiser & Marketplace this Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM.  The show will be HUGE with indoor and outdoor vendors.  Look for me inside and shop Vista Notes cards, boxed sets, calendars, and prints.
